I'm doing a presentation later this month on fun as a competitive advantage for companies, and I need your help. I've got a couple examples already. I've got my friend Stephanie Pipkin from Serene Clean. I've got my friend Dustin from HeyGov as great examples of companies that are winning in large part because they have fun. They've turned fun into a competitive advantage.
Fun helps with recruitment. It helps with attracting new customers. It helps with retaining customers when things go wrong. These are a couple of things I'm planning on touching on in the presentation.
I've got Zappos. I've got Southwest before they got taken over by private equity and ruined. A bunch of similar companies to that, to be honest.
A bunch of my favorite content creators, largely I follow them because they just seem like they're having a great time doing it, more so than because it's the best content in the niche.
My question for you is what other companies come to mind when I say all this? I'm looking for more examples to include in my presentation.
If you know of companies that win in part because they have fun, share them. These are the businesses that stand out, not just for what they do, but for how they do it.
